The unit is the source word, split on whitespace - you can verify it yourself in Word. Quota is charged exactly once per document. Going over your limit is a soft cap, never a hard stop mid-way, and it is charged at a single flat rate.

- That is within a few percent of the 3,450₫ per page inside the Personal plan - the cheapest way in. Going over your quota is priced like the plan you entered on, not as a penalty: the old rate was 7,500₫ per page.
- Re-translating an edited document: above 95% translation-memory match within 30 days, only 20% of the words count. Unchanged sentences are reused verbatim, so they cost nothing to run.
- The high-quality model (Opus) counts each word x2.5 against your quota.

Expert review

Typically 2-3 working days for documents under 5,000 words. We deliberately do not promise a fixed turnaround on every order: expert reviewers are people, and a promise that breaks the week three clients each send 10,000 words is worse than no promise.
How billing works
AviTerm uses a simple prepaid balance - no surprise charges. You top up your account by bank transfer, then spend that balance in two ways: buy a 30-day plan for its monthly word quota, or let occasional over-limit work draw down from the same balance.
There is no automatic recurring card charge. You renew a plan yourself when you want to keep going; if it lapses, your account returns to the free tier and none of your documents, termbase or translation memory are lost.
Every top-up, plan purchase and overage is written to a transaction history you can review at any time, and you can set your own spending cap so costs never run past a limit you choose.
How words are counted
The unit is the source word: a word is a token split on the whitespace of the original text. For example, "cảng hàng không" counts as 3 words. This counting method matches Word's word-count feature, so you can verify it yourself.
The word count and cost are always shown before translating, at the text-extraction step. Quota is charged exactly once per document; resuming a run does not charge again.
Going over your limit is a soft cap, never a hard stop mid-way - the overage is charged at the single published rate and drawn from your prepaid balance; you can set a spending cap to stay in control.

A worked example
Say you are on the Chuyên gia plan (200,000 source words a month) and you have already translated 195,000 words this cycle. You upload a 40-slide deck; at the extraction step, before any translation runs, AviTerm reports it as 12,000 source words and shows the exact cost.
5,000 of those words are still inside your quota and cost nothing extra. The remaining 7,000 words are overage, charged at 12,000₫ per 1,000 words - so 84,000₫ is drawn from your prepaid balance, once, for this document. Resuming the job later never charges again.
